David Starkel, PE

David Starkel is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 12 years of experience in land development.

In 2021, David joined Orsborn Engineering Group (now Orsborn Design Group) as Civil Engineering Project Manager; he works directly with people, overseeing the civil engineering team, supporting and mentoring junior staff, and building relationships with clients and other design professionals.

He brings a longtime passion for construction to his position as Civil Engineering Project Manager and has experience with everything from commercial office and retail projects to municipal parks and recreation facilities; at ODG, he is heavily involved in the design of large industrial warehouse and distribution projects.

He values creativity and accuracy, finding innovative solutions that complement technically sound design and bring high-profile projects to life.

Originally from Florida, David now lives in Mint Hill, NC with his wife of five years and their three sons.
